Steve Quinn
Steve has worked in financial services for over 30 years and from 2004 was the Founder and Managing Director of the out-sourced specialist insurance company management firm, Artex Gibraltar (formerly Quest Group in Gibraltar). In addition to this he has held several other insurance company directorships in Gibraltar and Malta throughout that period of time. Steve joined Robus as Chairman in December 2020.

Paul Cole
Paul is a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, a graduate of the Financial Times NED Diploma scheme and a member of the Chartered Insurance Institute. Paul has over 15 years of experience working in the insurance industry and 13 years working in investment banking in the City of London. Paul holds several positions on the Board and sub-committees of Gibraltar domiciled general insurance companies. He is a member of the Gibraltar Insurance Association Executive Committee.

John Harris
John began his insurance and risk management career in 1986. He is an experienced business development professional having spent the majority of his career helping businesses grow. Prior to joining Robus in 2019, John developed his career with global broking and risk consulting firms, supporting and leading commercial functions both nationally and globally. He is passionate about helping clients find solutions to their insurance and risk management challenges. In addition to John’s Group role, he is a member of the Robus Gibraltar board.

Jamie Polson
As Managing Director, Jamie has overall responsibility for the Guernsey office. He has over 25 years experience in the finance sector, beginning his career in private banking and moving into the insurance industry in 2001. Jamie has been a Board member with Robus since joining the company in 2014 and provides a wealth of risk management expertise along with a strong background in accounting, corporate governance, company secretarial, compliance and regulatory.
Over the past 20 years Jamie has managed a significant and diverse range of licensed insurers. This includes some of the largest captives in Guernsey along with many commercial general insurers and reinsurers. He also has years of experience as a director on PCCs which are set up for the provision of ILS.

Adele Gale FCA, BSc (Hons)
Adele is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and leads the ILS and Longevity practices at Robus. With over 10 years insurance management experience, Adele was involved with setting up Guernsey's first rated catastrophe reinsurer, first cat bond listing and first securitisation of takaful insurance policies as well managing over a hundred special purpose insurers. Adele also serves as the Deputy Chairman of the Guernsey International Insurance Association (“GIIA”).

Mark joined Robus Gibraltar in August 2022 as the Head of Operations. He is also a member of the Gibraltar Board. Mark has over 20 years of Financial Services experience, and for the 5 years immediately prior to joining Robus, he worked for the Gibraltar Financial Services Commission (GFSC) as a Regulatory Prudential & Intensive Supervision Manager. Mark’s responsibilities include leading the finance department including workflow, acting as the lead on certain engagements with the GFSC and supporting the team on technical matters.

Laura joined Robus in 2019 after 13years with a multi-national insurance broker. Within her previous role, Laura managed global portfolios, was a Lloyds coverholder and had a focus on business development.
Her previous experience working with high-networth consumers has proven to be invaluable for her clients at Robus and has a particular interest working with commercial retail insurers. Laura provides technical insurance and claims support to her portfolio.
She is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute and holds the title Chartered Insurance Practitioner.

Previous to joining Robus, Manus was Deputy Director of the Banking and Insurance Division at the Guernsey Financial Services Commission where he carried out roles in supervision and authorisations; he was latterly head of policy. Before his role as a regulator Manus spent 13 years in the insurance management industry in Guernsey. Manus holds a Graduate Diploma in Law as well as the ACII, with designation of Chartered Insurance Professional, and the Diploma in AML/CFT from the ICA.
