Robus’s quiz night raises £7000 for local charity GibSams

Robus Gibraltar was delighted to be able to host their second annual charity quiz night on the 29th June in aid of local charity GibSams.

GibSams offers a listening service to anyone who feels they need to talk and be heard, or who may be experiencing distress, despair or self-harming thoughts. They also offer a range of support and awareness raising services for the community, businesses and education providers throughout Gibraltar.

The evening was attended by over 100 local clients, business partners, staff, and friends of Robus, who supported the evening, during which we were able to help raise in excess of £7000 for this worthy cause. 

Congratulations go out to Robus Charity Committee members Beth Cahill, Bethany MacKenzie, Linda Garratt and Daniela Caballero for fantastic organisation and execution of the event. We hope to be hosting the event again in 2023!

Robus is an active supporter of local community initiatives, and this event is a further demonstration of our commitment to supporting our shareholder’s group charitable and good causes platform the Ardonagh Community Trust (ACT).

The community support and charitable efforts of the Gibraltar team have been recogonised by the Ardonagh Group for their contribution during 2022. On the 6th of July, members of the Charity Committee will be travelling to London, to attend the annual Ardonagh Spotlight Awards Ceremony. The team have been shortlisted as finalists for the ACT award!
